Stuck in the Mud

I was taking Frank and Vicky to walk in the woods because it was a warm Sunday afternnon. 40 is warm, right? And I just wanted to show them Judys house since it is next to the Nature Perserve.
I have been to her house once..no twice. Judy is my friends mom. She is the lady who wrote the "Inch by Inch" song I would sing to my dad. And I had done a painting for her of her son.
So, there I am with Frank and Vicky stuck in this lady's yard in the woods. It was embrassing...mud on me.... mud on my van...ruts in her yard...
But....
God loves me...
and so does Judy.

She was not mad at this silly woman stuck in her private property lane.
She gave Frank keys to her truck and a chain. So as Frank set up the... pull Sheryl's van out of the mud rig....Judy and I are catching up with our family stories.
I think she needed to talk to someone that day.
SO.....it is not my fault
that I got stuck in the mud...
God made me do it.....
So Judy and I could connect.
And even share in prayer together.

So, after an hour of unscheduled stuck in the mud time.... Frank, Vicky and I got to go on our walk in the woods in the Nature Preserve Area. That was our restful Sunday afternoon.

Today my prayer is...God, I pray Judys husband is not too upset with ruts next to his long long lane in the woods. We tried to fill in the ruts the best we could.

My favorite book! Bens too, I had to hide it from him once because he was driving me nuts about reading it over and over and over... LOL
